So yesterday was the Newcastle Alt Expo, and it was brilliant!
My manfriend came with me (when he could have been at home playing Fifa '13, but he was more than happy to come with and help me out, what a dude!) and it turns out I HUGELY needed him, we sold so many things! I absolutely could not have managed on my own; especially when it comes to counting change.
I got a few photos of the stall before the total onslaught of lovely customers, by the end my table was practically empty. all that hard work of making all those Skulls & Abe heads on time more than payed off. It is a shame I never managed to absorb everything that was going on, I didn't get to see the entertainment being the bands or even the burlesque show that was there, I didn't even get to see many of the fellow stalls! Next time I will trust my man enough to leave him there while I gallop off and have a look for a bit; he deals with the stall better than I do, anyway, haha. There are more photos of the whole event floating about (or soon to float about) FaceBook and other websites, but as I say, shame I couldn't have had a wander.

The crow chokers didn't last two seconds...
I desperately need to invest in bothering to display my stalls much better. Different levels, more hangers, a mirror so people can hold things up to themselves to see if they think they suit it or not, a rail to hang my latex on. General niceties.
I will say that the stall beside me who's owner I got to talk to (Urban Halo) sold some pretty nifty and very colourful pieces! Revolving mainly around hair falls and piercings. Prrrreeeetty pretty body jewellery!
