Just finally sat down after a weekend of stallage.
The Durham Christmas stall ran both Saturday & Sunday, both from 10 'til 4. The cost for the stall was £100, which I thought was a little steep, but thankfully I managed to make back that money: phew!
It's been a pretty good learning curve though; and I also eventually have myself a cute display.
As soon as I stepped into the building on the Saturday morning I was immediately intimidated by everyone else's stalls! They had all this proper display shit going on, it was mental. I'd been staying up late and getting up early trying to finish all my pieces on-time for about 4 days before the stall, and was pretty stressed I still hadn't managed to finish everything, which led to a night-before nosebleed and two morning nosebleeds (one of which was when I was trying to set-up there, cheers, nose). When we got back my dad and I put our heads together and knocked up a rough but ready lovely light-up display in under 2 hours. It looks really good but still needs a lot adding to it!
Aaaaaaaaanyway that display was ready for this morning (Sunday, the last day of the stall). It's a pretty cute display.
Aaas usual almost everything that was there ist online to be bought: http://www.mortiism.etsy.com
Well, I'm knackered. Gonna be one early night tonight.
