Illamasqua Complement Palette Review

This is the last review requested by Debenhams, in this one I'll be reviewing the Illamasqua Complement Palette with shades 'Slink, Focus, Queen of the Night & Forgiveness'.
First of all, as usual the packaging is so pretty and sturdy. I am a bit of a sucker for nicely packaged things!
I'm not sure if this is intentional, but I smelled the open palette and it smells just like caramel chocolate! Is this intentional? It was subtle, but even my dad picked up on it, too. Nice!

Slink is a very sheer, natural light champagne colour, Focus is a rich coffee, Queen of the Night (bottom right) is a very dark purple/brownish colour with hints of pink shimmer, and Forgiveness (bottom left) is a matt cocoa colour.
I've tried a swatch of each colour on my hand, below:

The colours look very rich on the palette, however when I was applying them I did need to go back and forth with more applications as not much product was transferring to my skin.

Out of the 4 colours, my favourite is Focus, the creamy, rich coffee shadow, as it seemed to go onto my eyelids much easier than the others, and I do love a heavy colour.

I'd rate this product 3 out of 5. The packaging is lovely and the unexpected scent of caramel/chocolate (unless I'm going mad?) was sweet, but the lack of density of the product unfortunately let this down a little.
